Stearic Acid Amide Emulsion
Stearic acids amide are a white, synthetic emulsion. They’re non-toxic, safe, effective, low-polluting and not hazardous. It’s easy to disperse into water.
Stearamide, also known by the name Stearamide. Its chemical formula C17H35CONH2 is stearamide. This compound can enhance the dispersion ability and color affinity of dyes.
High adhesion, good lubricity and mold releasing, with no moisture absorption. It can be combined with paraffin. This is formed from the reacting of stearic Acid and ammonia. Once the ammonium salt has dried, the final product will be obtained. It is a good, smooth product that has low hygroscopicity. As a surface-active, fiber oil, release agent and polyvinylchloride and urea lubricant as well as pigment ink and mixed agent with color crayons.

How are Stearic Acid Amide Emulsions made?
Because stearic amideamide is insoluble with water, dispersing and emulsifying agents must be included in preparation of water-based water-basedstearic amideamide emulsions to attain the dispersion effect. However, water-based steroids acid amide still have poor dispersion effects. Even after the addition of dispersants and emulsifiers, they are easy to precipitate. Moreover flocculation can occur following long-term storage. Also, it requires high-speed stirring, grinding, under heated conditions, in order to prepare the aqueous, stearic, acid amide, emulsion. It is expensive and time-consuming.
Method for making water-based Stearic Acidamide: First add the stearic, A and B to some water. Stir continuously for about 60 minutes. Add defoamer or preservative to the mixture and mix for 40 more minutes. The water-based preparation of stearic amideamide emulsion has an average solids content (41.7%) and a viscosity (146 mPaS). Next, add defoamer to water and stir for 40 minutes.
