How does Zirconium Silicide Zi2 powder be made?
The base of this is metal zirconium combined with silicon powder. Once the metal zirconium had been pulverized and the silica powder was mixed, the mixture went into the graphite oven. It was heated to between 900 and 1000 °C for pre-reactions. Next, it was transferred to hydrogen. At 1200 °C, the reaction took place, producing zirconium silicide.
