Tungsten-copper alloy is an alloy made from tungsten, copper and other elements. The common alloys contain between 10 and 50 percent copper. Powder metallurgy is used to prepare the alloy. The alloy has good thermal and electrical conductivity, high temperatures resistance and some plasticity. Copper in an alloy is heated to high temperatures. It can liquefy and then evaporate at very high temperatures. This absorbs heat, and lowers its surface temperature. This material is sometimes called metal sweating.
